Gina is a private personal productivity assistant. This policy explains how Gina accesses and uses Google Calendar data for its sole user.

Data Gina accesses

With the user's permission, Gina accesses the user's Calendar list and event information, including event titles, descriptions, dates, times, locations, attendees, and availability. Google authorization credentials are also stored so the connection can remain active.

How the data is used

Calendar data is used only to provide requested scheduling functions: showing commitments, detecting conflicts, planning available time, and creating or changing events under the user's instructions and Gina's approval rules.

Storage and processing

Authorization credentials are kept in access-restricted files on Gina's private server. Limited operational records may be retained when necessary to verify requested actions and maintain the assistant. Calendar information may be processed by the hosting and AI service providers configured to operate Gina, solely to provide the requested assistant features.

Sharing and sale

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared for unrelated purposes. It is disclosed only to service providers needed to operate Gina, or when required by law. Gina's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Google authorization credentials are retained until access is revoked or the integration is removed. Operational records are retained only as long as needed for the private assistant. The user can revoke Gina's access at any time from the security settings of the connected Google Account and can request deletion of Gina's stored authorization and operational data.

Security

Gina limits access to its server and credentials and uses encrypted network connections when communicating with Google. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
